The cultural society of Vlatos presents throughout the year a variety of events. Tickets for the events are available online with PayPal or for cold hard cash at the venue on the night of your choosing.
Three accomplished musicians all from the world of jazz, Maria Manousaki, Lefteris Papadakis and Sakis Tsinoukas meet for the first time to present a musical evening with sounds from different parts of the world.
Bárbara Martínez a professional vocalist and dancer who was raised and based in New York City. She leads two solo projects, one is a latin jazz/flamenco program that began with a sold-out evening at Carnegie Weill Hall twelve years ago and which can be seen frequently in jazz venues and festivals.
Grammy nominee Ariacne Trujillo Duran was born in Havana, Cuba. She began her career as a child prodigy. Blessed with perfect pitch, she’s had an extensive career as a concert pianist and composer. She achieved Master prizes and Special Mentions in national and international Cuban competitions and performed at the country’s top theaters and halls.
O Kwarteto is a NYC- and Madrid-based female string quartet primarily dedicated to Brazilian music with jazz influence adapted to our instrumentation. O Kwarteto performs original arrangements of music from genres ranging from Samba and Forro (Luiz Gonzaga, Dominguinhos, Sivuca) to Chorinho (Jacob do Bandolim, Pixinguinha), MPB (Chico Buarque, Milton Nascimento, Dorival Caymmi) and Bossa Nova (Antonio Carlos Jobim).
A dynamic latin jazz sextet led by trumpeter composer & arranger Yiannis Oikonomidis,with a repertoire based on latin and Brazilian all time classics.
The trio around drummer Felix Schrack is very happy to perform at Vlatos Jazz as part of their release tour of the album “Songs and Thoughts”, which was released in 2022, and to present the music.
Their project is so much more than the usual jazz guitarist accompanying a singer. It is a heartfelt conversation between two virtuosos soloists, sharing their fascinating life story in songs. A full range concert that celebrates life and love and ignites the imagination of anyone who hears it.
Aliberta – Areti Kamilaki, Valantis Ouzounidis & Leuteris Paulou Two old friends of the village of Vlatos (they got married here) and of Vlatos Jazz. Now for a special evening on our stage on August 16th. This is a free concert!

An acoustic version of John Kohlers’ band, featuring three classical instruments, will take us on a musical journey through different types of greek music based on rock and folk songs.
Maria Manousaki stands as one of Greece’s most successful and versatile musical talents, working to great acclaim and commercial success as a violin performer, band leader, composer, festival organizer and curator. Maria’s musical style can be best categorized within the jazz and world music scene.
Guitar duo that has been going for 20 years. The two musicians share their compositions, but also selections from the global guitar repertoire.
