Welcome to the village of Vlatos, at 432 meter altitude on Western Crete, we are honoured with your visit. Our village offers many sites to visit, trails to hike or events to attend. Every summer for the last 7 years we present Vlatos Jazz, an international jazz and world music festival that takes place on Sunday evenings during the summer. So, visit Vlatos, village of peace and culture this year!
Maybe you would like to know about past life in an ancient mountain village and visit the museum. Or you like to experience the wild nature of the arboretum Park of Peace, a 500.000m2 oasis with a wide variety of trees and animals. The village has a couple of restaurants, a petrol station and is home to Milia Mountain Retreat & Restaurant, the awarded eco-retreat.
